Vinyl Institute Healthcare environments require high-performance, durable, and sustainable materials to meet the ever-increasing demands for the health and safety of patients and staff. Vinyl is a material of choice for interiors as well as the core and shell of healthcare buildings. Chemistry and formulations are part of successful product performance; utilizing life cycle approaches to product selection, meeting owner project requirements, and supporting criteria within green building certifications are all part of the vinyl story. 90 minutes.

Faculty BIO

For more than 5 years, Susan Wade has been a valued member of the Vinyl Institute. In her role as VP of Marketing, Susan is charged with educating as well as building and maintaining relationships with interior designers, specifiers, facility managers, owners, and the A&D community. The material presented in this continuing education program was developed in collaboration with certified healthcare interior designers (CHID) and cleaning and disinfection experts.
