Description of ASTM-D7618 2013ASTM D7618 - 13Standard Specification for Ethyl Tertiary-Butyl Ether (ETBE) for Blending with Aviation Spark-Ignition Engine FuelActive Standard ASTM D7618 | Developed by Subcommittee: D02.J0 Book of Standards Volume: 05.04 ASTM D76181. Scope 1.1 This specification covers requirements for fuel grade ethyl tertiary -butyl ether (ETBE) that may be used for blending with fuels for aviation spark-ignition engines where permissible. Other ETBE grades available in the marketplace that do not comply with the requirements of this specification, are not suitable for blending with aviation fuels. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
